Q. Does ductwork installation affect compliance or performance?

Appendix E of Part F provides good practice guidance on the installation of fans. Poorly installed ventilation ductwork can affect ventilation performance rates and risks increased noise levels from the system. The performances set out in Part F are for installed performance requirements and failure to achieve them would make the system non-compliant.
